These pictures and photos of my work with Wayang Suket Indonesia. I was working on visuals and concepts with our team.
We are a small group called “Rumput” (“Grass”), made up of members from Indonesia and other countries. We aim to bring back and to preserve the Javanese tradition of Wayang Suket, or "straw puppets", and introduce this piece of Indonesia’s cultural heritage to the world. Our activities are performances that use straw puppets and creative ohp to tell traditional folk tales; workshops in making straw puppets, and exhibitions.
